Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Omaha, Nebraska. Completed plans call for site work for a development; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The work consists essentially of the following estimated quantities. The area subject to special assessments for the subject Improvements shall be the same as the outer boundaries of the District. The amount of the Engineer's estimate of the cost of said improvements (exclusive of engineering, fiscal, legal, interest, and miscellaneous costs ) is $145,000.00. All proposais must be submitted on bid forms furnished by Olsson, and must be accompanied by an original bid bond or a certified check in the amount of not less than $7,250.00 made payable to the Treasurer of Sanitary and Improvement District No. 574 as security that the bidder to whom the contract may be awarded will enter into a contract to build the improvements in accordance with this Notice to Contractor, and will give a contract and maintenance bond in the amount of 100% of the total contract price, all as provided in the specifications. Bid bonds must be executed by a duly licensed corporate surety. Checks accompanying proposals not accepted shall be returned to the bidders. No bidder may withdraw his proposal for a period of THIRTY (30) DAYS after date set for opening of bids. All questions shall be sent via email to Project Engineer prior to Thursday, August 21st at 2:00pm. Emailsreceived after that time will not receive a reply prior to the bid time.
