**As of August 18th, this project has been awarded to SumCo Eco Contracting. Haskell Pond Dam: Design Storm & Seismic Improvements Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. The work on the Haskell Pond Dam Rehabilitation project, includes but is not limited to: 1. Mobilize to the project site; coordinate and establish temporary utility crossing(s), site access and staging areas. 2. Install erosion controls. 3. Clear, grub, and strip all vegetation on the dam embankment and within 20 feet of the left and right abutments and the downstream toe of the dam. 4. Excavate the embankment crest to create a working platform for the secant pile wall installation. 5. Install the secant pile wall along the downstream side of the dam. 6. Install the reinforced concrete parapet atop the secant wall along the downstream slope to raise the height of the dam to elevation 114.6 feet. 7. Regrade the crest to a uniform elevation of 111.0. 8. Regrade the upstream slope to a uniform slope. Reuse granite block armor stone and supplement upper section with dumped riprap. 9. Regrading of the downstream slope to 2.5H:1V. 10. Install the blanket drain and two-stage filter toe drain along the downstream slope including manhole with flow measurement devices and discharge conduit/outfall 11. Install 3 seismic monitors at the stated locations along the dam/structures including telemetry and necessary data/electrical conduits. 12. Loam and seed dam embankment and areas disturbed by construction. 13. Dispose of unsuitable soils and construction debris. 14. Return the staging area and access roads to the pre-construction condition and demobilize from the site. 15. Coordinate with the Owner to install two survey monuments at the dam. 16. Complete an as-built survey Complete an as-built survey and provide close-out documentation.
