Site work and new construction of a civil project in Midland, Ontario. Completed plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Town is calling for the complete submission from qualified Contractors to construction of a new 378 square meter headworks building including new mechanical step screens and screening compactors, new vortex grit removal tanks and grit classifiers, new bridge crane system, heating ventilation and air conditioning, associated electrical and communication wiring; decommissioning of the existing headworks facility including removal of all existing process equipment and filling of existing channels, chambers and tanks; and upgrades within the existing pump house building to replace the existing service water pumping system with a new service water pumping system, connection to existing hydronics, and all new and modified yard piping as detailed herein. This project is funded by the Provincial Government through The Housing Enabling Water System Fund and is tied to its terms and conditions. Time is of the essence for this project and the successful bidder is to complete this project by the funding deadline of March 31, 2027.
