Bement CUSD #5 is inviting sealed Bid Proposals from interested and qualified parties for GYM VESTIBULE ADDITION , located at 201 South Champaign Street , Bement , Illinois 61813 .This project consists of providing a 3,850 SF building addition between the main gymnasium and THE industrial technology building at Bement high school. The programmatic spaces include a lobby, concessions, storage,and multi-user restrooms. the project consists of a base bid and four alternates as outlined below:4.1. base bid: provide all materials, labor and equipment required to provide a building addition and site wor kas shown in the drawings and specifications.4.2. Alternate bid #1: provide all materials, labor and equipment required to provide a prefabricated metal entry canopy and associated structural work at the east entrance as shown in the drawings and specifications.4.3. alternate bid #2: provide all materials, labor and equipment required to remove the electrical panelboard and provide new service and transformer to feed new building electrical.4.4. alternate bid #3: provide all materials, labor and equipment required to add liner to storm sewer under the existing gymnasium.4.5. alternate bid #4: provide all materials, labor and equipment required to provide dimensional signage INSTEAD OF vinyl signage for lettering at dedication wall. Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of five (5) percent of the bid amount. No bids maybe with-drawn for a period of 60 days after opening of bids. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities. Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. A Performance Bond, separate Labor and Material Payment Bond,and Insurance in a form acceptable to Owner will be required of the successful Bidder. The Owner requires all contractors and vendors doing business with the Owner not to discriminate against anyone on the basis of race, age, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, ancestry, non-job-related handicaps or national origin. Bement CUSD #5 reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, and to waive any and all informalities in the bidding. After receipt of bids and completion of the review process, Bement CUSD #5 may award a contract to the bidder that, in its opinion, will provide a combination of the best services and reasonable cost.
