Emergency Power Generators & Related Equipment Installations Location: New Jersey State Capitol Complex, 145 West State Street - Trenton, Mercer County, NJ All Bidders Must Be Classified With DPMC With One of the Following Trades: Single Bid (lump sum all trades) General Construction (C008) OR General Construction / Alterations & Additions (C009) CCE: $10,491,938 N Accordance With N.J.S.A. 52:32-2, This Project Shall Be Bid as a Single Bid (Lump Sum All Trades). Bidder Itself Must Be Classified in the Following Trade(S) or It Must Name Subcontractor(S) for the Following Trade(S): Structural Steel & Ornamental Iron (C029) Plumbing (C030) HVACR (C032) Electrical (C047) Failure to list all of the required DPMC Classified sub-contractors will render the bid non-responsive. This project is subject to a Project Labor Agreement (PLA). Pursuant to N.J.A.C. 17:13, this project has been designated as a Small Business Set-Aside Opportunity. Note: This contract includes a goal of awarding 25 percent of the total contract value to a Small Business Enterprise (SBE) at either the prime or subcontract level. The firm determined to be the lowest responsible bidder must produce copies of approval notice from the Division of Revenue and Enterprises Services designating the prime or subcontracting firm as a Small Business Enterprise prior to the award of contract. Further information with regard to the SBE goals for this project will be available within Bulletin B of the Bid Documents. No Bidder may withdraw its bid for 60 calendar days after the opening. The State may reject any and all bids in accordance with applicable law. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27- 7.2: THE MINORITY PERCENTAGE GOAL REQUIREMENT FOR THIS CONTRACT IS 30% PER SKILLED CRAFT. THE FEMALE PERCENTAGE GOAL REQUIREMENT FOR THIS CONTRACT IS 6.9% PER SKILLED CRAFT. A. Contact New Jersey One-Call and Owner prior to construction. B. Identify and field mark-out all on-site utility lines to remain in operation during construction. C. Submit procedures to be used to ensure the safety of the utility. D. Repair any damage during construction operations. E. Conduct test pits at all utility crossings prior to construction. F. Coordinate with Owner. Testing, adjusting and balancing for HVAC systems includes systems in Executive State House (ESH) and mechanical systems located in the Legislative Staff Building (LSB) Mechanical Room.
