**As of September 29, 2025, the project was awarded to V & S Construction, with an awarded amount of $10,473,257.40.** The City of Humble is requesting bids for the Northshire Lift Station Upgrade and Wastewater System Improvements. This project involves construction of Northshire Lift Station upgrades, new force main, new gravity sewer in the City of Humble, as well as all labor, equipment, materials, and incidentals required for the project. It is the sole responsibility of the bidder to ensure that his/her bid is actually in the City of Humble, Chief Financial Officer's office prior to the expiration of the time and date above first written. Bid Security in the Amount of Five Percent (5%) of the Greatest Amount Bid Must Accompany Each Bid in Accordance With the General Instructions to Bidders. Bids Will Be Required to Be Submitted Under a Condition of Irrevocability for a Period of Ninety (90) Days After Bid Opening. The Successful Bidder Will Be Required to Furnish a Performance Bond, Payment Bond, and Maintenance Bond in an Amount of 100% of the Total Contract Price. The Successful Bidder Will Be Required to Furnish Insurance That Meets All Requirements as Set Forth in the Project Manual With the City of Humble Named as Additional Insured. It shall be each bidder's sole responsibility to inspect the site of the work and to informhim/herself regarding all local conditions under which the work is to be done. It shall be understood and agreed that all such factors have been thoroughly investigated and considered in the preparation of the bid submitted. The Contractor and all Subcontractors for this project will be required to pay not less than the prevailing wage rates for the area of the project as determined by the Owner and listed in the project manual. Upon consideration of the proposals, the City Council plans to award a Contract; however, the City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any and all formalities and technicalities, and to accept any bid which it deems advantageous to the City. Each bidder agrees to waive any claim it has or may have against the Engineer, the City and their respective agents and/or employees arising out of or in connection with the administration, evaluation or recommendation of any bid. QA date - 29 August 2025 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by Engineer as having received the Bidding Documents.
