Sealed Bids will be received by the City of Amboy for "2025 Sidewalk Project and is further described as follows: The City of Am-boy is requesting proposals for the construction of 534 of Newly Constructed sidewalk. The lowest responsible bidder will be notified of the award from the ex-ecution of the Notice of Award. The location of this project starts at N Metcalf Ave and E Bacon St and will go East on the North side of Bacon for 534. The work shall include all labor, equipment, materials and related items necessary to complete the newly constructed sidewalk, various earth excavation, forming, grading. - delivery and placement -of aggregate base -course and placement and finishing of Port land Cement Concrete to construct sidewalks within the City limits of Amboy as deemed necessary by the City Council. The sidewalk - shall be constructed In accordance with the appropriate ADA Guide-lines and be construct-ed to the Illinois Depart-ment of Transportation Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction, which will be considered the Standard Specifications for this contract. The City of Amboy will assist in the preliminary grade needed for the project and the selected bidder will be responsible for the final grade specifications. All sidewalks shall include 4 (four) inches of Aggregate Base Course, CA-6 which meets IDOT Specifications. The PCC Sidewalk shall be 4" thick, minimum and a minimum width of 5 (five) feet. All necessary sealant, expansion joint material, tie bars (if needed), saw cutting, jointing, and any proper rebar or wire mesh reinforcement material will be required, and all related items shall be completed in accordance with the Stan-dard Specifications. The Potential Bidder shall submit a cover letter with Business Name and Address, a short resume of recent-ly completed projects of similar type and the following Bid Schedule with an assigned UNIT PRICE for SQUARE FOOT OF PCC SIDE-WALK, 4" as shown below.
