Project Description: This project has no affiliation with the City of Gulf Shores and is not being funded by the City of Gulf Shores. All RFI's will be responded to by the Airport's chosen representative. The City of Gulf Shores is not responsible for this project nor any of its contents. The Work includes the construction of a new car wash facility at Gulf Shores International Airport in Gulf Shores, Alabama. The scope of Work consists of earthwork; concrete paving; construction of concrete equipment pads; asphalt paving; installation of stormwater infrastructure; utility service connections for electrical, water, and sanitary sewer; installation of site lighting; and placement of an above-ground fuel tank. The Work also includes furnishing and installing car wash system components, including pressure washing equipment, vacuum stations, and a vehicle canopy. All Work shall be performed in accordance with the Contract Documents and applicable codes and standards. The work will be awarded in one Contract. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed, delivered or otherwise issued to all parties recorded by Engineer as having received the Bidding Documents.
