Pursuant to the provisions of Section 153.54, each bidder shall be required to file at the time of the bid, one of the following options: 1. A bond in accordance with division (B) of section 153.54 of the Revised Code, providing for the Bid Guaranty and the Contract Bond in the full amount of the bid, or, 2. A Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Letter of Credit pursuant to Chapter 1305 of the Revised Code, in accordance with division (C) of Section 153.54. The amount of the Certified Check, Cashier's Check or Letter of Credit shall be equal to ten per cent (10%) of the bid. If this option is used, a Performance Bond issued by a surety company in the amount of 100% of the contract price shall be furnished by the successful bidder as a condition of the contract. Ohio Prevailing Wage Laws apply to this project and must be paid in accordance with Chapter 4115 of the Ohio Revised Code, and as determined by the Ohio Department of Commerce-Division of Industrial Compliance, Wage and Hour Administration, for Fulton County, for each laborer, workman or mechanic employed under this contract. The Fulton County Agricultural Center reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Question Deadline 08/15/2025 If any person contemplating submitting a bid for construction of the Work is in doubt as to the true meaning of any part of the Contract Documents, or finds discrepancies in or omissions from any part of the Contract Documents, he may submit to the Architect a written request for interpretation thereof not later than seven days before bids will be opened. The person submitting the request shall be responsible for its prompt delivery.
