This Project generally includes but is not limited to 16 separate locations within Somerset County. This work consists of 6,182 TONS of HMA Pavement, 400,000 LF of Crack Sealing, and 229,566 LF of Thermoplastic Traffic Stripes. Bidder shall submit with the bid a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total price bid, but not in excess of $20,000.00, payable unconditionally to Somerset County Treasurer, along with a Certificate (Consent of Surety) with Power of Attorney for full amount of bid price from a Surety Company authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey and that said Surety will furnish a Performance and Payment Bond in amounts of 100% of successful bidder's contract. All Bid Addenda will be issued on the County website at www.co.somerset.nj.us, and processed in accordance with N.J.S.A. 40A: 11 - 23(c)(2) All interested respondents should check the website from now through bid opening. It is the sole responsibility of the respondent to be knowledgeable of all addenda related to this procurement.
