Renovation of an office development in Albany, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a office development.
The scope of work includes, and is not limited to, removing the existing double doors. Enlarging the masonry opening. Installing a new lintel, a new rolling door, and a single passage door. HVAC scope includes the removal of the existing air curtain and the removal of the ceiling grid, as needed, to complete the work. The new HVAC work includes new air curtains and thermostatic controls. The electrical scope includes the removal of a wall-mounted electric heater and existing ceiling hung lights, as needed, to complete the work. The new electrical work includes new circuits to power the HVAC equipment, a new wall-mounted electric heater, new pathways for the card readers, door access, and spares for future use. All work on this Contract is to be completed within 6 months after the date of the Notice to Proceed. Bids must be submitted in duplicate per the instructions contained in the Information for Bidders. Bid security will be required for each bid in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the Total Bid. MBE, WBE, and SDVOB goals are set as 15%, 15% and 6% respectively. The State University of New York reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to make no award. Estimated Range $250,000-$500,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
