Description

Site work and paving for a road / highway in Billings, Montana. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

This scope of work requires engineering services to complete a comprehensive road design through Scope of Work (SOW) for intersection improvements at the intersection King Avenue & 48th Street West in Billings. This project is being completed to address safety and operational needs at this intersection. It is anticipated that a round-about will be the selected intersection improvement for this intersection, however the successful consultant will be tasked to verify the appropriate solution as part of Activity 102, Alternative Analysis. A full Intersection Control Evaluation (ICE) is not anticipated. Right-of-way acquisition, utility and irrigation relocation, survey, geotechnical, environmental, traffic, hydraulics, and road design will likely have significant components to this project. Activities to complete the project through PS&E will be added by a future amendment to the scope of services.
