**As of September 18th, 2025, the project was awarded to Lynn Vessels Construction, LLC, with an awarded amount of $409,973.20.** Proposals shall be accompanied by an acceptable bid bond for the same amount from a reliable surety company as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into a contract and execute required Payment Bond within ten (10) days after notice of award of contract. The notice of award of contract shall be given to the successful bidder within thirty (30) days following the opening of bids. The successful bidder must furnish a material and labor Payment Bond upon the form provided in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price, from a surety authorized under the laws of the State of Texas to act as a surety on bonds for principals. Scope of Work: The project consists of renovating an existing vacant brick building into a senior center. The scope includes all new windows, a small commercial kitchen using existing appliances, a new air conditioning system, a new restroom addition, an open seating and activity area, necessary MEP upgrades, and general interior and exterior improvements per the attached bid plans.
