Renovation of a municipal facility in Enterprise, Alabama. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

ENTERPRISE HOUSING AUTHORITY, IQC, TASK 8, ENTERPRISE, ALABAMA - 2235, consisting of Administration building modifications A certified check drawn on a bank or trust company insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, payable to the Housing Authority, or satisfactory bond executed by an acceptable surety on the Bid Bond form contained in the Specifications, or other form acceptable to HUD and the LHA, and in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid shall be submitted with each bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory Performance and Payment Bond(s) in the amount of 100% of the contract amount. All sureties must be authorized to transact business in the State of Alabama and must be listed on the U.S. Treasury Department Circular No. 570 (most current list), published annually listing companies approved to act as surety on bonds securing government contracts, and said surety or sureties must be in accordance with maximum underwriting limits on each contract as specified in the above mentioned Circular No. 570 Before the opening of bids, bidders or their representatives may attend a Prebid Conference with representatives of the LHA and the Architect. The conference will serve to allow bidders to visit the site(s) and address questions to the LHA and Architect. The Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in the bidding. The work shall be commenced at the time stipulated in a written Notice to Proceed to the Contractor and shall be fully completed within the required consecutive calendar days thereafter. The Contractor shall also timely request and pay for each required Federal, State, and Local Application for Inspection and Certificate of Occupancy, or other fees as may be required by all federal, state, and local agencies. Deliver approved Certificate(s) of Occupancy to the PHA. Question Deadline 08/13/2025 No oral interpretation will be made to any bidder as to the meaning of the Specifications and Drawings. Every request for an interpretation shall be made in writing and any inquiry received seven or more calendar days prior to the date fixed for opening bids will be given consideration. These instructions on interpretations modify those indicated in Paragraph 2(a) of the attached HUD Form 5369.
