Enterprise Life Flight Hangar The Project consists of constructing one 80' x 80' hangar that will include an 80' x 20' living quarter, and paving of the hangar apron. No bid may be withdrawn within 60 calendar days after the scheduled time for receipt of bids. All bidders must be licensed and shall comply with all requirements of the State of Alabama Contractor's Licensing Act. The Owner will in no way be liable for any costs incurred by any bidder in the preparation of its Bid in response to this Invitation to Bid. This project will be funded in part by a grant provided by the Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT), Aeronautics Bureau, and local matching fund. The project will be administered in compliance with Alabama state law regarding sales and use taxes. The Contractor shall be responsible for obtaining a certificate of exemption from the Alabama Department of Revenue for purchases of materials and other tangible property made part of the project. Any subcontractors purchasing materials or other tangible personal property as part of the project shall also be responsible for obtaining a certificate of exemption. The successful Bidder for this Contract will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond and Payment Bond each in the amount of 100 percent of the Bid. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive informalities and to readvertise.
