The Washington State Department of Enterprise Services (Enterprise Services) is conducting a competitive procurement to award two (2) regional contracts for specified snow and ice removal services at designated properties in Kelso and Seattle managed by Enterprise Services. Commodity codes: 968-72-Snow and Ice Removal Services, 192-46-Ice and Snow Removal Chemicals, 750-54-Ice Control Aggregate. Inclusion plan: This solicitation is designed to increase opportunities for specified innovative and qualified firms to contract with Washington state agencies. Based on prior procurement experience and business judgment, Enterprise Services estimates that the total value of each Contract to be awarded is $150,000 or less. Accordingly, because the total Contract value is estimated to be $150,000 or less, Enterprise Services, consistent with state procurement policy, see Enterprise Services Policy No. POL-DES-090-06 - Supplier Diversity Policy, intends to award the contracts by specified geographic regions to the lowest responsive and responsible bid from: Washington Small Business (as defined in RCW 39.26.010(22)(a) or Certified Veteran-Owned Business, unless none of these businesses are responsible and responsive to this solicitation.
