Replacement of Pvc Natural Gas Facilities The Gas Utility District No.1 of West Feliciana Parish is requesting sealed bids for furnishing all materials and equipment necessary for a PHMSA Natural Gas Distribution Infrastructure and Safety Modernization Grant program. The project consists of installing approximately 34,250 linear feet of 4-inch PE coiled pipe along LA 421 between Walker Rd. and Peterson Rd., Lake Rosemound Loop Rd. and on the west side of LA 61 and approximately 10,300 linear feet of 2-inch PE coiled pipe with associated fittings and vales along Walker Rd. Whitestown Rd. and Peterson Rd. Additionally, the project requires the replacement of 29 existing services with 1,320 linear feet of 1-inch PE coiled pipe, 29 service risers, and meter assemblies. Included in the new gas distribution system is the installation of 4 and 2 PE ball valves, necessary road bores and obstruction bores. The successful bidder will also be required to furnish incidentals such as miscellaneous fittings, tracer wire, detector tape, and provide a pressure test meeting PHMSA requirements at 90 PSI on all new piping. All proposals must be accompanied with a bid bond or a certified check in the amount of five (5) percent of the total amount bid. The Gas Utility District No.1 of West Feliciana Parish reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids for just cause.
