The project consists of furnishing all material and constructing the following: Upstream Drain Improvements: 1,800 ft of open channel excavation and 130 ft of culvert replacement. Installation of 3 inline water level control structures. No Man's Land Improvements: 650 ft of open channel cleanout and 85 ft of channel realignment. Installation of 11 grade control structures. Including all necessary appurtenances and restoration. Question Deadline 08/22/2025 Questions to be addressed in the addendum will be received through 5:00 p.m. five (5) business days prior to the bid. Only written addenda issued by the Engineer shall be binding. Oral interpretations, information or instructions by any office or employee of the Owner or Engineer are not authorized and therefore are not binding. A bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check payable to Kent County Drain Commissioner in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total price shall accompany each bid. This surety shall bind the bidder for a period of ninety (90) days after the receipt of bids.
