The work for each part of the tank is as follows: SSPC-SP10 Near White Metal Blast for the entire Interior wet. The Interior Dry of the tank should be cleaned using SSPC-SP10 near white metal cleanliness . For the Exterior full SSPC-SP6 Commercial Blast , with Class Full Rigid 2A Containment. After the repairs and recoating have been completed, the existing guide rail system will be reinstalled on top of the Elevated Steel Hydropillar Tank Water Storage Tank. Contractor shall be prepared to Mobilize and Remobilize in the Spring and Fall if it is required. N.J.A.C. 7:22-3.17(a)24, 4.17(a)24, 6.17(a)24 and 7:22A-2.4(a) provide that a goal of not less than 10 percent be established for the award of contracts to small business concerns owned and controlled by one or more socially and economically disadvantaged individuals. The goal of 10 percent applies to the total amount of all contracts for building, materials and equipment, or services (including planning, design and building related activities) for a construction project. The contract to be executed by the successful bidder will provide that it shall not become effective until the necessary moneys to do the work have been provided by the City of Ventnor in a lawful manner. The award shall further be subjected to the securing of necessary State, Federal or Local permits governing the work. The project sponsor has identified that the SED utilization goal for this project is ten percent (10%).
