The engineers estimate for this project is m the range of $250.000 to $300,000. The Work to be performed, within 75 working days from the date of Notice to Proceed consists of furnishing all. materials, equipment, tools, labor, and other work or items incidental thereto for the Tukwila Urban Center Conveyance Inspection project. The Tukwila Urban Center Conveyance Inspections Tukwila Urban Center Conveyance Inspection project shall include, but is not limited to, furnishing all labor and equipment, necessary to robotic Closed Circuit Television Inspection (CCTV) of a portion of the Citys Stormwater Conveyance System. The portion to be inspected consists of approximately 18,750 linear feet of piping and 186 known drainage structures and is located in Public Right-of-Way. The contractor shall be responsible for providing CCTV for the entire system and possible tasks including mobilization, spot cleaning of accumulated debris to allow for inspection, removal a nd disposal of any such debris, and traffic control. The time of completion for the contract is 75 working days from issuance of notice to proceed. An exhibit showing the pipes that are to be inspected is included in Appendix C. All bid proposals shall be submitted according to the Information for Bidders and be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in the form of a cash deposit, certified or cashiers check, postal money order, or surety bond made payable to the City of Tukwila, for a sum not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid, including sales tax. Should the successful bidder fail, to enter into such a contract and furnish satisfactory payment and performance bonds within the time stated in the specifications, the bid deposit/bond. shall be forfeited to the City of Tukwila. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids or waive any informalities in the bidding and make the award as deemed to be in the best interest of the City.
