Consideration will be given for employment of local area residents. Contractors from Idaho, Lewis and Clearwater County, and Montana are acceptable. The Board of Idaho County Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all bids, portions or parts thereof. Solicitation information is available to interested bidders on the Idaho County website, idahocounty.org, under the Noxious Weed Department tab. Approximately 350 miles of Right of Way and Gravel Pit Noxious Weed Treatment located within the Nez Perce Clearwater National Forest. This treatment is authorized by the Good Neighbor Authority. The treatment areas are in the Grangeville, Idaho; Elk City, Idaho; and Red River, Idaho areas. Noxious Weed Treatments will be Spot Treatments only, following all Forest Service Regulations and NEPA standards. Each area may require specific Regulations and NEPA standards.
