qualified licensed Contractors for the modernization of an elevator at two-story building located at 35801 SW 186 Ave. Florida City FL 33034. This project, in whole or in part, will be assisted with Federal funding and as such bidder must comply with all applicable federal labor laws and regulations, and with all requirements for state, and local laws and ordinances to the extent that such requirements do not conflict with federal laws and will be required to comply with federal labor standards, including but not limited to: Labor Standards Provisions of 29 C.F.R. Part 5Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act of 1962, as amended (40 U.S.C. 3701- 3708)Federal Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938, as amended (29 U.S.C. 201-219)Copeland "Anti-Kickback" Act (18 U.S.C. 874).In addition bidder will be required to comply with State of Florida requirements, including but not limited to: Employment Eligibility Verification (448.095, F.S.) The bidder is required to pay workers on this project the minimum wages as determined in the Wage Determination Decision included in the Bidder's package; and that the contractor must ensure that the employees are not discriminated because of race, color, religion, sex or national origin. Centro reserves the right to reject any or all general bids, if it be in the public interest to do so, and to reject any bid if it determines that such bid does not represent the bid of a person competent to perform the work as specified or that less than two such bids were received and that the prices are not reasonable for acceptance.
