Chariton is requesting qualifications for the preparation of an Engineering Report to address include but not limited to increasing water storage, safety and security improvements and consolidation with another public water supply provider for our district.for our district.Funding for the report is through the Missouri Department of Natural Resources Drinking Water Engineering Report Grant program. The report would adhere to the Minimum Design Standards for Missouri Community Water Systems effective December 10, 2013. Qualification information provided to the district should include: A. The specialized experience and technical competence of the firm with respect to the type of services required; B. The capacity and capability of the firm to perform the work in question, including specialized services, within the time limitations fixed for the competition of the project; C. The past record of performance of the firm with respect to such factors as control of costs, quality of work, and ability to meet schedules.; D. The firm’s proximity to and familiarity with the area in which the project is located. E. The firm’s professional experience in designing systems for new wastewater and water districts. F. Once the most qualified firm is selected, an engineering agreement will be negotiated. The engineering agreement may be amended to include design and construction engineering services. The execution of the agreement shall be contingent upon the availability of funds.
