Question Deadline 09/16/2025 The Offeror may submit any questions with regard to this report by email to NDAA1290Cert@state.gov. To the extent feasible, the Department of State will respond to such email inquiries within 3 business days. Work includes demolition of five existing trail bridges and disposal of unused material off Forest Service lands. New trail bridges of varying lengths will be constructed: one 41-foot bridge (24 ft main span and 17 ft approach span), two 26-foot bridges, one 30-foot bridge, and one 24-foot bridge. Four bridges are single-span steel girder bridges with timber plank decks on steel grade beam foundations. The 41-foot bridge is a steel girder bridge with a timber dowel-lam deck on steel grade beam foundations. Bridge plans specify the use of steel stringers, timber decks, and abutments. Additional work includes approach surface treatment, removal of existing materials, and placement of riprap. All construction must follow the attached plan set. PROJECT LOCATION The Huntington Ravine Winter Access Trail. Access to the trail is out of the AMC Pinkham Notch Visitor Center, 361 NH -16 Gorham, New Hampshire, Coos County, within the White Mountain National Forest, Androscoggin Ranger District. All questions shall be submitted by 9/12/2025. MAGNITUDE OF CONSTRUCTION PROJECT $1,000,000 to $5,000,000 The Contractor shall begin performance within 10 calendar days and complete it within 307 calendar days *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The Forest Service (FS) is soliciting bids for replacement of five bridges on the Huntington Ravine Winter Access Trail. Access to the trail is out of the AMC Pinkham Notch Visitor Center, 361 NH -16 Gorham, New Hampshire, Coos County, within the White Mountain National Forest, Androscoggin Ranger District. The contractor shall provide all expertise, labor, supervision, services, equipment, tools, supplies, permits (as applicable), coordination with utilities, transportation, and incidentals necessary to complete the work described. The desired outcome is completed installation per the standards attached to this solicitation, and adherence to the contract awarded. The awarded contract shall constitute the entire agreement including all terms and conditions applicable to the contract. Work shall be completed as shown in the drawings, maps, specifications, and exhibits as referenced or included in this contract, and in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
