Site work and paving for a road / highway in Gorham, New Hampshire. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
This project includes the fine grading and paving of approximately 780 linear feet of Union Street from the intersection with NH Route 16 to the southern dead end. The Contractor will be responsible for fine grading the existing gravel surface and installation of hot bituminous pavement and other ancillary work as identified in these documents. General: The Town of Gorham will receive sealed bids for the fine grading and paving of approximately 780 linear feet of Union Street, from the intersection with NH Route 16 to the southern dead end. Bid Security: No Bid Security is required for this bid. Performance Security: No Performance Security is required for this bid. Pre-Bid Conference: A pre-bid conference will not be held. Time to Complete: Acceptance of this bid is conditional upon the Contractor commencing work after the project award and completion of work on or before August 27, 2024 (prior to the first day of school). Completion of work beyond this date may be acceptable if agreed to by all parties. The Contractor will guarantee the work and materials and the work and materials of all subcontractors for a period of one (1) year from the date of acceptance of the work. The Town Manager reserves the right to waive defects in form and minor irregularities and to reject any or all bids as determined to be in the best interest of the Town.
