Dykeland System Upgrade at the Farnham Marsh (NS076) and Starrs Point Marsh (NS080), Kinds County NS. The Farnham Marsh (NS076) is located in Kings County on the north shore of the Cornwallis River estuary at Port Williams. The Starr's Point Marsh (NS080) is located in Kings County at the outlet of the Cornwallis River. The marsh is approximately 121 hectares (298 acres) with a single 2,458 (8,065 ft.) dyke and 2 aboiteaux. TIMELINE: Request for Proposals for the provision of engineering design services is underway. The services required include the following phases of work; Pre-Design and Analysis (Phase 1), Detailed Design Development and Construction Documents (Phase 2), and Post-Design Services (Phase 3). Final design package submission will be in August 2026. Tender and construction timelines to be determined. *Budget is unreleased.
