Contract #1 Asphalt Pavement Pulverization: CTH CH (County Farm Road - STH 18), Town of Dodgeville; +/- 0.7 Miles. The work under this contract shall consist of pulverization/recycling to Iowa County Highway Department 1215 N Bequette Street Dodgeville WI 53533-0078 Phone: 608.935.3381 CRAIG HARDY Fax 608.935.0372 HIGHWAY COMMISSIONER Email: highway@iowacounty.org WWW.IOWACOUNTY.ORG include: CTH CH - from the intersection with County Farm Road Northerly 0.7 miles to the intersection with STH 18. Pulverize the existing base coarse, existing surface, new county added base coarse, and any incidental items necessary to complete the in-place pulverization recycling. Contractor shall provide all mixing of materials. County shall provide new base coarse materials, rough grade shaping, compaction, watering, and rolling materials back to a normal crown or existing cross slope for CTH CH; Contract #2 Hotmix Asphalt Purchase: CTH CH (County Farm Road - STH 18), Town of Dodgeville; +/-0.7 Miles. The work under this contract shall consist of supplying the Iowa County Highway Department with Hot Mix Asphalt Pavement, 12.5 mm and 19.0 mm; Type 3 LT 58-28 S for the 2025 County Highway Improvement Project CHIP#19211, to include providing mix design and maintaining a quality control program for an estimated 2,500 Tons of material. The Iowa County Highway Department will attempt to utilize the lowest bid when obtaining product, however the Department reserves the right to obtain product from the most advantageous vendor/plant location. In making this determination, the Department will consider availability of product and proximity of vendor to project to minimize hauling costs and/or assure the product quality is not compromised by excessive hauling times.
