The City of Fernley (City) is soliciting proposals from qualified planning consultants to assist in developing a new component of the City's Comprehensive Master Plan, the South Fernley Area Plan. This plan is anticipated to provide a guide for the future development of the area with specific focus on issues such as transportation and traffic, land use and zoning, development standards, flooding and drainage, infrastructure, community services, parks and open space, financing, and implementation. The consultant will work in close collaboration with the City's staff, elected officials, developers, and the community to develop a sustainable Area Plan reflecting a unified vision for the growth and development in south Fernley.
