Questions submitted after this deadline may not be accepted or considered. This project has six (6) treatment units. All units are marked by an orange flagged boundary. Knots and flagging 'tails' point into the units. The primary tree species to be treated is lodgepole pine. The objective is to thin lodgepole pine stands to a designated spacing to improve forest health, vigor, reduce fire risk, and provide enhanced economic value. Trees to be thinned range from one inch (1") to four and nine-tenths inches (4.9"). Desired spacing is eight feet (8') by eight feet (8') for a residual spacing ofsix hundred eighty (680) trees per acre Slash will be lopped and scattered. Trees will be cut to no more than four foot (4') lengths, limbs severed from the bole ofthe tree, and the resulting slash scattered to a depth ofno more than eighteen inches (18"). No cutting operations will be allowed on site from September 1st until May 1st unless otherwise approved by the District Forester. Location T. 12 N., R. 117 W., Section 16, Uinta County, WY ACCESS: From Mountain View WY: o Head south out ofMountain View on WY-410 for approximately 14 miles and then turn left onto County Road 271 (Meeks Cabin Rd). o Travel south on CR 271 for 14 miles to Private Access Rd and turn right. o Proceed 1.5 miles west on Private Access Rd to stream crossing and head north to Fish Creek State Section Line.
