Renovation of a military facility in Perry, Kansas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a military facility.
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Perry Lake, requires the replacement of the existing Built-Up Roof on the Outlet Works Tower with a new Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer (EPDM) sloped insulation roofing system. The contractor must also remove and replace all metal flashing and perform any incidental related work and provide necessary materials. Work is to be conducted Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., excluding federal holidays, with weekend work only permitted upon prior approval. The contractor must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local environmental laws and regulations and is responsible for identifying and implementing any additional environmental compliance requirements during construction. The estimated period of performance is 240 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed (NTP), and the estimated project magnitude is between $25,000 and $100,000.
