Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Racine, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
This project was awarded to LaLonde Contractors, Inc, but no awarded amount provided. THE PROJECT consists of installing all curb and gutter, sidewalk with detectable warning fields at curb ramp, concrete driveways, and concrete surface drains, as detailed on plans titled Roadway Resurfacing, CTH X to STH 11 CTH T (See plans included in bid documents). Construction staking to be provided by Racine County consultant. All non-concrete work to be completed by Racine County. A certified check or bid bond equal to 5% of the bid, payable to Racine County, shall accompany each bid as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, that the bidder will execute and file a contract and furnish a performance and payment bond for the full amount of the contract. RACINE COUNTY through its duly authorized representatives, reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive all technicalities, and to choose the offer deemed most advantageous to Racine County. All bidders by submitting their bids agree to abide by the rules, regulations, and decisions of Racine County. Question Deadline: 08/11/2025: Bidders should make a written request to Duane McKinney, Procurement Agent at Duane.McKinney@racinecounty.com for interpretation or correction of any printed material. Any requests for change shall be submitted in writing at least seven (7) days prior to bid opening.
