Each bid shall be accompanied by a sworn and notarized statement disclosing any familial relationship that exists between the owner or any employee of the firm submitting the bid and the Superintendent of Big Rapids School or any member of the Board of Education. Bids shall be executed on the Bid Form provided. Each proposal must be accompanied by a satisfactory certified check, money order, or bid bond payable to Big Rapids Public Schools for not less than five (5%) percent of the amount of the bid and delivered in a sealed envelope bearing the bidder's name, address, and project identification. All bids submitted shall be from a PRIME BIDDER only and shall include all subcontractor costs for scopes identified in the contract documents. This project does not require prevailing wages. Successful bidder(s) will be awarded by AIA A101-2017, Standard Form of Agreement Between Owner and Contractor, issued by the Owner following direction by Big Rapids Public Schools. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive any irregularities in biding and to refrain from accepting or rejecting any bids for a period of thirty (30) days after the bid opening. The project scope of work includes High School Athletic Locker remodeling including (but not limited to) the following: 1. Girls Varsity Locker Room: locker removal and replacement with new lockers 2. Boys Varsity Locker Room: locker removal and replacement with new lockers. 3. Boys PE Locker Room: electrostatic painting of existing metal lockers.
