Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in San Bernardino, California. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

The San Bernardino City Unified School District is interested in entering into a contract with a qualified vendor to professionally modify three school site planter areas in order to improve irrigation efficiency, control erosion, and prepare the area for future landscaping. Work includes soil removal, irrigation systems conversion, grading, and erosion control measures. Request for Clarfication:August 22, 2025, 12:00pm Scope of Work: Planter Area Improvements - North Verdemont ES. 3555 West Meyers Road, San Bernardino, CA. 92407 Project Overview: This project involves modifying the planter areas on the west side of the parking lot to improve irrigation efficiency, control erosion, and prepare the area for future landscaping. Work includes soil removal, irrigation system conversion, grading, and erosion control measures. California State License Board: C-27 Landscaping Contractor License Work Locations: North planter by bus turn around South planter by bus turn around East Side- turf area and behind kinder Attachments (for reference only): Current site plan with area highlighted Work Requirements: 1. Soil Removal & Site Preparation: Safely remove excess dirt from planter areas and leave it on-site for the district to manage. Fine grade all areas, ensuring soil is taken down below the curb line to allow for the installation of mulch or decomposed granite (DG). On site trash receptacles shall not be used by contractor(s). Irrigation System Conversion: Convert the existing irrigation system to drip irrigation for improved water efficiency. Install point-source drip irrigation using flex risers with Rainbird emitters. Install Rainbird commercial drip zone valves, including: 1. New valve box 2. Wire mesh protection against gophers 3. New brass ball valve in front of the valve Install lateral lines and necessary fittings (Schedule 40). 3. Erosion Control: Install jute netting on the slope near the building to prevent erosion. Equipment: Contractor shall supply all required equipment Materials and Equipment: Flex Risers with Rainbird Emitters Rainbird Commercial Drip Zone Valves (includes valve box, wire mesh, and brass ball valve Lateral Lines & Fittings Jute Netting (as required for the slope near the building) Contractor shall supply all required materials, tools, equipment, vehicles and safety Materials must meet project specifications as described 1885 East Lynwood Drive, San Bernardino, CA. 92404 Work Requirements: 1.
