Renovation of a municipal facility in Westfield, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

Westfield Senior Citizens Housing Corporation ("Housing Corporation") is requesting sealed bids for the Boiler Replacement Project. All bids must be accompanied by a bid bond in the amount of 5% of the bid amount and a consent of surety to a 100% Performance and Payment Bond. All bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope, labeled "Bid for Boiler Replacement Project" and including the bidder's company name and return address. Bidders must ensure that their bid is received at the address and by the deadline specified above. Bids received after the deadline for any reason shall not be considered and will be returned to the sender. The failure to abide by the instructions set forth in the Invitation for Bids in any way, including but not limited to the failure to submit all required documentation, may lead to the bid being rejected as non-responsive. The Housing Corporation reserves the right to reject any and all bids and/or to waive any informality in the bids. No bids may be withdrawn within sixty (60) days after the submission deadline. PURPOSE Second Westfield Senior Citizens Housing Corporation (the "Housing Corporation") is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt non-profit corporation organized and existing pursuant to the laws of the State of New Jersey. The Housing Corporation provides quality, affordable housing to low-income seniors through various affordable housing programs. The Housing Corporation currently owns and manages the Boynton Gardens / Westfield II project containing 131 senior affordable units located at 1129 Boynton Avenue. The project is a LowIncome Housing Tax Credit ("LIHTC") project. In accordance with applicable Federal and State of New Jersey requirements, the Housing Corporation is currently accepting sealed bids for the Boiler Replacement Project at Boynton Gardens / Westfield II. The contract shall be awarded to the bidder who submits the lowest responsible and responsive bid. The successful bidder will be required to execute the Housing Corporation's contract and obtain a 100% Performance and Payment Bond from an acceptable Surety within seven (7) days of receiving the notice of award. Any requests for clarification as to the meaning of any provision of this Invitation for Bids shall be submitted in writing no later than Monday, August 18 th at 4:00 PM to Noor Mahmood, NMahmood@falconengineering.com.
