A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** The Scope of Work for the Killbuck Streetscape and Trail Project consists of the following: o New asphalt trail connection from the existing Homes County Trail, through downtown Killbuck, and terminating at the Killbuck Swamp Preserve. o Downtown streetscape improvements including new decorative paver sidewalks, decorative paver crosswalks, and decorative paver intersection. o Drainage improvements o Decorative street lighting o Landscaping o Elevated boardwalks with viewing platforms Bid Alternate #1 work includes: o Water street parking lot improvements, including pavement removal, drainage improvements, concrete parking lot, and landscaping Bid Alternate #2 work includes: o Main Street west curb replacement Bid Alternate #3 work includes: o Main Street east curb replacement o All work to follow the OMUTCD for maintenance of traffic, signage, safety, etc. installation of a new trail with streetscape features from the killbuck swamp reserve to the existing holmes county trail. trail features include elevated boardwalk with viewing platforms, concrete and asphalt shared use path, roadway and drainage improvements in streetscaping area, and improved access to and parking for the nature preserve and ENGINEER'S ESTIMATE: o The Engineer's Official Estimate of Probable Cost for the Base Bid of this Project is $4,662,376. o The Engineer's Official Estimate of Probable Cost for the Alternate #1 of this Project is $374,227.25. o The Engineer's Official Estimate of Probable Cost for the Alternate #2 of this Project is $163,734.00. o The Engineer's Official Estimate of Probable Cost for the Alternative #3 of this Project is $216,011.00. Each bid must contain the full names of the party or parties making the same, with an affidavit as to interested parties, and in the case of a corporation not chartered in Ohio, with a proper certificate that such corporation is authorized to do business in Ohio, and shall be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty Bond for the full amount (100%) of the Bid, in favor of the "Owner" or a certified check, cashier's check, or letter of credit pursuant to Chapter 1305 of the Ohio Revised Code, in the amount of 10% of the Bid, payable to the "Owner". It is agreed that the bid guaranty shall be for the benefit of the "Owner" pursuant to Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code if the undersigned fails to execute the Contract in conformity with the Form of Contract incorporated in the contract documents and furnish Bond and insurance certificates within ten (10) days after the notification of the award of the Contract to the undersigned.
