The City of Newton is soliciting proposals from General Contractors with RRP certification for one (1) home rehabilitation located at W. 12th Street. The City of Newton has received a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Scattered Site Housing Project to rehabilitate homes. This job consists of 3 trees to be removed; exterior girder replaced; guttering; installation of new windows (working with the Lead Abatement Contractor); installation of exterior doors; electrical upgrades; plumbing work; HVAC work; floor covering; interior painting; interior doors as well as other carpentry work.
