Reference Number 0000300243 The Work of this Contract, designated M45-4-Duncan Shop - Passenger Elevator Overhaul (DUN1L/DUN2L), consists of: The supply of labour, equipment, and materials for the engineering, design, fabrication, shipment, installation, Products, commissioning and acceptance inspections, warranty services and temporary Works to complete the HVAC installation and Overhaul Work as shown in the Specifications and on the Contract Drawings. Refer to the following scope of Work for details: The complete replacement of the existing passenger elevators and associated structure, finishes, and electrical and mechanical components. Passenger elevator overhaul consists of, but not limited to, the overhaul of two (2) elevators DUN1L and DUN2L; the provision of engineering, design, fabrication, equipment, manufacture, shipment, installation, labour and Products, elevator cab upgrades, commissioning and acceptance inspections, warranty services, temporary Works to complete the overhaul work as indicated on the Contract Drawings and as specified in Sections 14 24 23 and 14 24 24 for DUN1L and DUN2L respectively, and localized state-of-good repair. Retain Professional Engineer certifying the structural integrity of each existing elevator hoist beam should the Contractor choose to use it for construction purposes, subject to review by TTC. Dismantle and remove existing elevator hoist beams in accordance with the Contract. Building Automation Control System (BACS): Provide conduit, wiring to HVAC equipment, and other miscellaneous systems in accordance with the Contract Documents. Connect and integrate new split AC systems to existing BACS system. Coordinate with equipment manufacturer to provide requisite contacts to enable interface with equipment controls. Upgrade existing BACS to interface with new elevator machine room split AC system. Ensure existing BACS graphics is updated to reflect the additions under this Contract. Designated Substances and Hazardous Materials Survey Report: Refer to the Designated Substances and Hazardous Materials Survey Report appended to the Contract Documents as Appendix 1, and as indicated in Sections 01 57 19 and 01 59 00, and prepare the Site for safe construction operations prior to engaging in other Work, as required by governing legislation. Safely remove and dispose of designated substances and hazardous materials as required, in accordance with governing legislation, and the requirements of authorities having jurisdiction. Should concealed or unknown conditions be found to vary from those identified in the Designated Substances and Hazardous Materials Survey Report, notify TTC immediately.
