Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Grampian, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a fire / police facility; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Grampian Borough Township reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informalities in the bidding process, and to award the bid as may be deemed by the Borough to be in their best interests. This contract includes the excavation and removal of portions of asphalt paving, application of geotextile, 2A aggregate backfill, and application of WMA binder on existing paved parking lot area at the Grampian Fire Hall located at 251 Main Street, Grampian, PA, 16838. A bid bond in the amount of 10% of the bid price, and performance and payment bonds in the amount of 100% of the contract price will be required. All work must be completed by October 15, 2025. Work shall be coordinated with the Grampian Penn Bloom Volunteer Fire Company to ensure access to the vehicle and equipment storage potions of the facility. This work is funded by a Local Share Account Grant provided by the PA Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED) awarded to Grampian Borough. Prevailing wage standards apply to this project. Compliance with the Public Works Employment Verification Act through utilization of the Federal E-Verify Program is required. This contract will require compliance with Commonwealth NonDiscrimination/Sexual Harassment Provisions, The State Contractor Responsibility Program, and the Americans with Disabilities Act.
