The scope of work includes: o Conduct overview of the funded grant application o Review the existing site where proposed improvements are to take place. o Design the improvements stated in the grant agreement and bid the installation of them. o Oversight and construction management of project. o At close out of project, ensure that all improvements are safe and usable. o Advise the City of Raeford on matters associated with this project o Assist City in financial reporting of this grant. The City of Raeford is soliciting requests for qualifications for professional engineering services to assist the city in implementing this grant. Payment terms will be negotiated with the selected firm. The fee for professional engineering services will be paid with state grant funds. If your firm is interested in submitting its qualifications for professional engineering services to assist the city, please provide a submittal (8 copies) that includes the following: o Firm Information: firm's legal name, address, email and telephone number, the principals of the firm and their experience and qualifications. o Experience in designing park projects. o Firm Capacity and Capability o Proposed workplan and schedule of activities to be performed. o Documentation of compliance with state and federal debarment/eligibility requirements Submissions will be evaluated by the City Staff and the Parks Advisory Committee. Upon completion of the review and recommendation by the Committee, the City Council will seek to negotiate a contract price with the most qualified firm.
