The project is expected to be awarded on November 20,2025.** Project Summary: This locally funded public works project consists of replacing and reconfiguring original and outdated electrical distribution equipment at STA's Boone Avenue Facilities. At the Boone South facility this project will remove the existing diesel generators and replace them with a new natural gas fueled generator, replace two main distribution panels, remove two motor control centers and make other panel, starter, or wiring replacements and adjustments as needed for the new work and current code. At the Boone North facility this project will replace one main distribution panel and remove one motor control center along with other panel, starter or wiring replacements and adjustments as needed for the new work and current code. Use of Minority and Women's Business Enterprise (MWBE) contractors and suppliers is encouraged, but not mandatory. Bidders may contact the Office of Minority and Women's Business Enterprise at online to obtain information on certified firms.
