Northwest Hwy., Palatine, IL, 60067 This work shall consist of demolishing all designated structures. The Contractor will obtain all necessary regulatory permits. The district will obtain all Village demolition permits 1. Removing all structures and auxiliary structures from the properties including footings, foundations, and concrete slab flooring. a. The Upper Barn/Apartment is approximately 40,000 SF b. The Lower Barn is approximately 14,000 SF. (Alt B. Dismantle a small portion for reuse. (See 06_Alt B Hay Storage document) c. The Apartment section of the upper barn structure is masonry with a concrete slab floor (see 01_Stables Scope of Work). 2. Remove all designated concrete and/or aggregate stone sidewalks/parking lots. 3. Disconnect all sanitary lines and cut & cap the line outside the designated sanitary structure (02_Public utilities map) and install a bulkhead inside the structure. 4. Cut and cap the 4-inch water service line at the water main. Refer to the (02_Public utilities map) for the designated location. 5. Furnish and install a temporary 6 ft. chain link fence to adequately secure the entire site until completedestoration to include the following: 1. Remove all designated signs and support structures two (2). 6. Remove one (1) light pole standard and pole foundation. 7. Furnish and install a temporary 6 ft. chain link fence to adequately secure the entire site until completed. Restoration to include the following: 1. Backfilling all excavations with clean soil, use topsoil for the upper 6-inch layer. 2. Seed and blanket all disturbed areas.
