The 2025 Water Treatment Plant Rehabilitation Project includes replacement of 8 water filter effluent isolation valves, cleaning of the 8 water filter cells, and replacement of the water filter media from 8 water filter cells. Bid security furnished in Bond form shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. The successful bidder must replace the bid guaranty with a one-hundred percent Performance Bond upon award of the bid. The owner intends and requires that this project be completed no later than December 20, 2025. The Board of Control of the City of Wilmington reserves the right to accept the lowest and best bid, reject any and all bids, and to waive any irregularities in bids. If any person contemplating submitting a bid for the proposed contract is in doubt as to the true meaning of any part of the plans, specifications, or other proposed contract documents, they may submit to the Engineer a written request for an interpretation thereof. The person submitting the request will be responsible for its prompt delivery. Question Deadline 08/28/2025 The Work to be performed under this Contract includes, but is not limited to, constructing the Work described below and all appurtenances related to the Work. The Work shall be as follows: 1. Installation of 8 Filter Effluent Isolation Valves 2. Removal of Existing Water Filter Media from all 8 Filter Cells 3. Chemical and Mechanical Cleaning of all 8 Water Filter Cells 4. Installation of new Water Filter Media in all 8 Cells
