The deadline for questions is September 4, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., local time Project Description 1. Removal and replacement and/or thorough inspections and repair of all roofing assemblies at Baldwin Hall, Baldwin Annex, Fobes Hall, Caldwell Hall and Reid Hall. There are a total of (32) different roofs required for replacement or inspection in this roofing project, with each roof located and numbered on bid drawing sheets BD2.01 through BD2.06 in the bid drawing package. These roofs are denoted as roofs 1-32, with ancillary roofs numbered 15A, 18A and B, 20A, 21A and B, and 23A. Reference items 5 and 8 below for the roofs requiring inspection and documentation as part of this Work. 2. All roofing assemblies are to be removed down to the roof deck substrate and then replaced with new, complete assemblies using materials that are in like kind and like quality, except as noted in the bid drawings and specification sections. Existing roof at the Baldwin Annex is to be removed down to the existing built-up roof (BUR) and then covered with new insulation, cover board and EPDM membrane. 3. Existing roof types include EPDM, asphalt shingles and slate (natural and synthetic). Roof types and locations are called out and located on drawing sheets BD2.01 through BD2.06 (see item 1 above). 4. The existing historic natural slate on Reid Hall (roof #26) is to be removed and replaced with synthetic slate to match the existing in color, texture and finish. All slate roofs on this portion of the complex (roof #s 22 and 26) are to be replaced with synthetic slate roofs to provide consistent, new installations which match the old historic slate shingles in size, design, color, and texture.
