The scope of work consists of the replacement of 72 existing closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras along the H-3 Freeway and within the Tetsuo Harano Tunnel, installation and replacement of the corridor wide fiber optic trunk communication cable, installation of two (2) new CCTV cameras on H-3 Freeway, operator equipment upgrades at the Tetsuo Harano Tunnel traffic operations center that includes the upgrade and provision of two (2) newworkstations and replacement of the existing video switch and video wall display. Workalsoincludes the installation of three (3) new CCTV cameras on Pali Highway (Route 61) withlimited new conduit installation at the camera sites for camera connectivity to existingfiberandinstallation of a fiber optic conduit between Kalihi Interchange and HoughtailingStreet ontheH-1 Freeway Direct all questions regarding this Solicitation, and any questions or Issues relating to the accessibility of this Solicitation (Including the appendices and exhibits to this Document, and any other document related to this Solicitation), to: Park, Rachael Hui Jin. The estimated cost of construction is between $5,000,000 and $9,000,000. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. All Request for Information (RFI) questions and Substitution Requests shall be submitted in HIePRO no later than September 2, 2025, at 2:00 p.m., HST. RFI questions received after the stated deadline shall not be addressed. The State reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any defects in said proposals in the best interest of the public.
