Renovation of a water / sewer project in Miami, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

FOLIO# 30-4007-000-0020 License Requirements: Primary: General Building Contractor; Building Contractor Sub: Concrete Work; Underground Utility / Excavation Scope of Work: (Contractor must obtain and submit all permits prior to performing any work). PURPOSE: The roll-off containers yard of the Snapper Creek Trash and Recycling Center severely floods during intense rain events and remains flooded for days. The County requires a General Contractor or Building Contractor for this project to improve the storm water drainage in that area so that flooding will be eliminated or minimized. SCOPE OF WORK: The work consists of adding French drains with catch basins to the existing storm water drainage system at the Snapper Creek Trash and Recycling Center roll-off containers yard. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, services, incidentals, to perform all necessary tasks to complete the project, and ready for service in accordance with the plans and specifications provided. The work includes but is not limited to the following items: _Demolition, removals and disposal _Dewatering, excavation and backfill _Cleaning of existing drainage system _Repairing existing drainage systems, once cleaned, if required _Installation of new drainage structures, including testing _Restorations of pavement and others, disposal of excess materials _Providing as-built documentation _Permit fees will be reimbursed to the Contractor by the County, when properly justified _Demolished concrete shall be removed to a construction and demolition recycling facility Additional Requirements: _All construction and materials shall conform to the County's Sustainable Buildings Program.
