The estimated cost of construction for the Project is $35 to $40 million. It is anticipated that the Project will be advertised and invitations to bid will be made available to Contractors on the Qualified Bidders list for the Project in November 2025. Bid opening is anticipated to occur in December 2025. Contract Award is anticipated in January 2025, with a 20 to 24 month Project construction duration. Project schedule is subject to change. The Project is located at the southeast corner of City of Fremont's Central Park, near the intersection of Paseo Padre Parkway and Stevenson Boulevard. The proposed project includes a new Community Center building, adjacent outdoor spaces including an outdoor living room, circulation/access improvements, approximately 218 parking spaces, an event hall and an adjacent event hall patio. The work will include furnishing all labor, supervision, materials, and equipment necessary to construct the Project. The Project will be owned and maintained by the City of Fremont and is being designed by Group 4 Architecture, Research + Planning, Inc. in conformance with applicable local, State, and Federal codes and standards.
