Site work, paving and outdoor lighting for a mixed-use development in Miami Beach, Florida. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and for outdoor lighting for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is developing the design for a roadway project along SR 934/Normandy Drive from west of Bay Drive West to west of Rue Versailles. WORK TO BE PERFORMED: FDOT COMPASS FDOT is committed to ensuring the States infrastructure serves residents, businesses, and visitors to meet their current and future transportation needs. Benefits of this project include: COMMUNITIES Adding a new crosswalk at the east side of the Bay Drive West intersection. SAFETY Upgrading curb ramps, signalization and pavement markings. RESILIENCY Repaving and restriping the road Addressing ponding at two locations SUPPLY CHAIN FDOT invests in roadways and transportation facilities to facilitate the movement of goods that serves our community and beyond TECHNOLOGY Upgrading lighting at the new crosswalk. WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT This project creates opportunities for contractors, which results in economic benefits for workers and the community As of August 16 2025 , This project is included in the State's 2025 Capital Improvement Program (CIP) *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly.
