Replace and upgrade exist-ing VRF system with new VRF equipment for basement and lust floor of the Newton County Courthouse, 201 North Third Street, Kentland, Indiana Replace 34 indoor units and associated outdoor condensing units Replace line set and control cable as needed for new system Pressure test entire system via nitrogen vac down, then charge Perform start-up to verify proper operation Prior to bidding, each bidder must affirm under the penalties for perjury that he or she does not owe delinquent real or per-sonal property taxes, special as-sessments penalties, interests, costs, or any amounts from a fi-nal adjudication in favor of New-ton County, Indiana, or a political subdivision within this county, nor any civil penalties imposed for the violation of a building code or ordinance of this county. nor civil penalties imposed by the Newton County Health De-partment. Further, each bidder must ac-knowledge that any successful bid made in violation of the above statement is subject to forfeiture. In the event of forfeit-ure, the bid amount shall be ap-plied to the delinquent taxes, special assessments, penalties. interest, costs, judgments, or civil penalties of the ineligible bidder. All bids are to be submitted in prescribed forms, which are obtainable from the Auditor's Of-fice. Each bidder will be re-quired to file with his or her bid, the regular bidder's bond or a certified check in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, as a guarantee of good faith and for the liquidation of damages, pay-able to the Newton County Treasurer, subject to approval of The Board of Commissioners and also a non-collusion affi-davit as provided by law. The Board of Commissioners reserve the right to reject any and all Bids.
