Standards & Compliance The electrical scope includes the complete replacement of the existing power distribution system for Phase 1 (Campsites #1--#23), with the following requirements: Pickens County is soliciting bids from qualified general contractors for the replacement and upgrade of electrical and water infrastructure at Mile Creek Park Campground. Distribution & Feeders 1. RV Service Pedestals o Size all feeders per NEC demand factors and distance: o Each pedestal must provide: o Provide new feeders to comfort station (~250 kcmil aluminum). o Upgrade each campsite to 50A service. o Install combinations of 400A service pedestals, with some serving bathhouses (comfort stationsAll equipment and installation must comply with: NFPA 70 (NEC 2020) Applicable local and state electrical codes o Use only new, UL-listed equipment and materials. o B. Water System Replacement 1. Replace the existing water main with new 2" PVC piping. 2. Install freeze-proof hydrants and individual shut-off valves at each campsite (1-23). 3. C. Site Work & Restoration o Trenching and excavation o Erosion control measures o Asphalt cutting and patching o Clearing and debris removal o Site restoration, including grassing/seeding of disturbed areas All electrical components must be weatherproof (NEMA 3R) and installed on concrete mounting pads. Water line to originate from the main shutoff near campsite #1, looping through to campsite #23 and the bathhouse. 2. All work areas must be left in a clean and restored condition upon completion. 4.
