Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Key West Nas, Florida. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is developing the design for a roadway project located along State Road (SR) 5/US 1/Overseas Highway from Mile Marker (MM) 87.16 to MM 90.02, in Monroe County. WORK TO BE PERFORMED: Repaving and restriping the road Upgrading guardrail and roadside barriers Installing sidewalk and curb and gutter to replace the barrier wall north of Woods Avenue Adjusting stormwater drainage northbound Upgrading detectable warnings at trail crossing locations Replacing road signage and upgrading pavement markings Upgrading pedestrian signals at Woods Avenue Placing sod at the unpaved shoulders to address erosion As of August 16 2025 , This project is included in the State's 2025 Capital Improvement Program (CIP) *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly.
